Senior .NET / Blazor Developer for Confidential Industrial Web App PoC
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We are looking for a senior Microsoft-stack developer to build Phase 1 of a confidential internal web application proof of concept for an industrial operations environment.
This is not a brochure website or CMS job. It is a new coded PoC, intended to prove the architecture for extending an existing thick-client operational system into a web/PWA route. The existing live production system is already in use; this Phase 1 PoC will run separately against local/test data only and must not assume live-system integration at this stage. I expects a working Visual Studio solution, not just paperwork or architecture notes.

Phase 1 scope
Build a working proof of concept that includes:
• Stub WinForms startup host
• Basic shared-memory / startup flow structure
• Redundancy Broker Server stub
• Redundancy Broker Client stub
• API application host / service skeleton
• ADO.NET interaction with local/test SQL Server only
• Login/auth scaffold
• Local approval flow via IsWebUser
• Support for a JIT-pending auth state that shows a “Please wait for Authorisation” screen with timed recheck
• Blazor front end
• PWA/service worker shell
• Up to 3 agreed demo screens/pages
• Reusable UI mechanics sufficient to demonstrate:
o fixed-layout operational UI
o list/grid rendering
o panel/container behaviour
o basic popup/tooltip behaviour
o filter state persistence
o demonstration-only drag/drop path
• Source-code handover plus brief setup notes
Explicitly out of scope for Phase 1
• Live production system/database integration
• Full replication of the existing desktop/MDI application
• Full redundancy/duty logic
• Production hardening for 24/7 deployment
• Customer/vessel restricted workflows
• Kiosk-phone mechanics
• Raw hardware/device-ID capture
• Broad second-phase productisation
Required skill set
We need someone strong in:
• Senior C# / .NET engineering
• Blazor and ASP.NET Core
• ADO.NET and SQL Server
• Desktop-style/fixed-layout web UI design
• Auth-flow implementation and state handling
• PWA / service worker behaviour
• Clean architecture for PoC-to-product evolution
• Working under NDA / IP assignment / confidential client environments
Strong advantage if you also have
• WinForms experience
• Shared memory / IPC familiarity
• Windows/domain auth experience
• SignalR or real-time internal application experience
• Industrial, control-room, or internal operations dashboard experience
