.NET Developer for Busy & ERP Integration

Project Context

We already have a system in place where a Busy .exe is connected with our ERP server. However, it has frequent bugs and reliability issues. We are looking for a developer with hands-on Busy Accounting + .NET expertise who can:

Debug and fix the current Busy–ERP connector (exe).

Refactor or rebuild the integration into stable REST APIs as per our ERP needs.

Optionally implement an event-driven architecture so changes in Busy (customer, invoice, receipt, payment, outstanding balances) are automatically synced with ERP.

Scope of Work

Analyse the existing Busy exe bridge and identify bugs.

Create/modify APIs for:
• Customer master
• Sales invoices
• Payments/receipts
• Outstanding balances & related lookup tables

Ensure secure authentication + error handling.

Map all Busy fields with our ERP schema (JSON).

Stress test the solution (500+ transactions without data loss).

Package with clear documentation and setup guide for our internal team.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of Busy Accounting Software internals (database + SDK).

Expertise in .NET / C# and API development.

Prior experience integrating Busy with ERP or CRM systems.

Understanding of REST / event-driven architecture.

Acceptance Criteria

Stable Busy–ERP sync with zero manual intervention.

APIs return structured JSON with proper status codes.

Stress test passes without errors or data mismatches.

Documentation allows setup in staging without developer hand-holding.
