.NET Core 8 Migration for Large WPF Application

I have a large WPF application written in C# that I'm looking to migrate to .NET Core 8. The primary motivation for this migration is to leverage the new features and technologies available in this latest version.
Key Requirements:
- The application consists of more than 50,000 lines of code, so extensive experience with large-scale codebases is a must.
- I don't require support for existing third-party libraries or frameworks. The plan is to replace them with .NET Core 8 compatible alternatives.
