Legacy Gas Sensor Program to Web App
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I've got a vintage 1MB Windows program that allows you to search for a gas and suggests suitable sensors. This needs to be transformed into a web app, focusing on the sensor recommendation functionality. User input should be via a search bar, mimicking the interface of the original program. Unfortunately, I don't have the source code or debug file, so you'll be working directly with the executable and accompanying database files.
Ideal skills and experience for the job:
- Proficiency in web development, particularly in creating interactive search bar functionalities
- Experience in converting Windows executables to web apps
- Familiarity with handling and integrating database files in .txt and .ird format
I need this project done with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The end product should be user-friendly, effectively mirroring the original program's capabilities.
