The core of the job is to wire up Flespi’s MQTT/REST endpoints, store incoming messages, and present them through a clean interface that works equally well on desktop and mobile. Users must be able to log in under different roles—administrator, dispatcher, or read-only guest—and see only the assets and functions granted to them.
Functional requirements
• Real-time tracking: moving map with live position updates every few seconds.
• Historical data analysis: trips, idle time, speed graphs, export to CSV.
• Geofencing alerts: create circular or polygon zones, trigger notifications via email and in-app.
I’m fine with the stack you’re comfortable with—React, Vue, or plain HTML/JS on the front end; Node, Python (FastAPI, Django), or Go on the back end—as long as it is well documented and containerised so I can redeploy it later. However, ideally this should be done using .NET Core and Angular to align with an existing case system for reusing SDKs and libraries.
Deliverables
1. Source code in a private repo.
2. Infrastructure scripts (Docker-compose or equivalent) that spin up the full solution.
3. Brief hand-off session showing me how to add new Teltonika devices and manage user roles.
4. A short PDF summarising the API endpoints you created and any custom Flespi channel settings.
Acceptance criteria
• Live positions render within three seconds of arriving in Flespi.
• All three roles function as described with no privilege leaks.
• Mobile browser tests (Chrome / Safari) show responsive layouts.
If you’ve connected Teltonika devices to Flespi before, please mention it—otherwise tell me how you plan to approach parsing their AVL data. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right fit.
