Finish our software project
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am looking for a freelancer to help us finish our software project. The project is currently partially completed, using C# and Microsoft Visual Studio. We require assistance in adding additional features to complete the project.
The ideal freelancer will have extensive experience in software development, as well as a demonstrated proficiency in C# and Microsoft Visual Studio.
The main project was done a couple of years ago. It is software to operate a research instrument, which operates numerous valves, gets readings from different sensors, and calculates result. The software has predefined procedures that users could configure to run standard and samples. The new software will add additional research parameter. One major addition to acquire spectra data from a spectrophotometer. The programmer already wrote a separate testing software, which acquires spectrophotometer data. But he has to leave the project. What needed in this request is to integrate it into the main program.
The software was written in C# using Microsoft Visual Studio. Whoever could help will just continue working on the integration, not to restart the whole project from anew as we do not have the time.
There are lots of science behind the project, and it is hard for me to lay out all the basics in this description. What I am going to do is for whoever interested in the project to conduct an initial interview, by having a video meeting, to explain the science, the current coding and what needed to be done. I will demonstrate directly on the instrument computer via anydesk or google meet.
