Finalize .NET MVC Enhancements
Budget: $12 – $30 SGD
The web application is already about 70 % complete and built with ASP.NET MVC (C#) and standard HTML/CSS/JavaScript. I now need the remaining feature upgrades and bug fixes wrapped up so we can move into production without surprises.
Features still to add
• A streamlined, left-hand “New Menu” navigation that replaces the existing top bar.
• An “Updated User Flow” that shortens the current three-step process to two steps while preserving all validation.
• Full Role Management (Admin, Manager, User) wired into the existing Identity setup so each role sees only the pages and menu items intended for it.
Critical bug-fix focus
UI glitches (misaligned elements, inconsistent styling), functional errors (controllers returning wrong views or data), and performance slow-downs on the heavy dashboard all need attention. I will provide you a list of reproducible issues, but I also count on your initiative to flag anything else you spot during the refactor.
Tech stack & workflow
Source is in a private Git repository; Visual Studio 2022, Entity Framework, and SQL Server are in play. I expect commits in logical, well-commented chunks so reviews stay quick and clean.
Acceptance criteria
1. New menu, flow, and role rules compile and run with zero blocking issues.
2. No critical UI, functional, or performance defects remain on the supplied test checklist.
3. Solution builds in Release mode and deploys to the staging server without manual tweaks.
4. Brief change log and setup notes updated in README.
If this aligns with your skill set, let’s get the last 30 % over the line.
