Excel Supplier Cost Dashboard
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Every month I receive dozens of Excel credit-note files from different suppliers. From those sheets I have to work out two things:
• the exact net landing cost of each product, and
• the total amount that will come back to us from our lenders.
Right now I copy and re-calculate everything by hand; I’d like you to turn that repetitive grind into a single, reliable dashboard.
How I picture the flow
1. I paste or load the raw Excel schemes for any number of suppliers.
2. The model cleans and consolidates the data automatically (Power Query or similar).
3. The dashboard instantly shows:
– net landing cost per SKU, per supplier and in total
– amount due from lenders, broken down the same way
– simple filters for supplier, product, month or scheme.
Key points you must cover
• Input will always be Excel spreadsheets.
• It has to handle multiple suppliers at once without me editing formulas.
• All calculations have to stay transparent so I can trace how each figure is produced.
• No external subscriptions; keep everything in Excel itself or, if you feel Power BI is a better fit, explain why and make sure the refresh is one-click.
Deliverables
– The working dashboard file(s) with all queries, measures and visuals.
– A brief set of instructions so my team can add new supplier files each month and refresh the results.
– A quick test run on one month’s sample data to prove the numbers match our manual worksheets.
If you have built similar cost or rebate dashboards before, let me see a screenshot or short video so I can gauge the approach. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right fit.
