Deploy .NET Project on Proxmox

I already have a fully-working .NET application and a Proxmox environment in place; the last step is getting everything running smoothly inside an Ubuntu 18.04 VM so the project is accessible and stays online after every reboot.

What I’ll hand over
• SSH access to the Ubuntu 18.04 virtual machine managed by Proxmox
• The compiled .NET project and any configuration files it needs

What I need from you
• Prepare the VM, install or confirm the correct .NET runtime, and copy the project over
• Configure the app as a persistent service (systemd or a proven alternative) so it starts automatically on boot
• Map the required ports and expose the service, verifying connectivity from the outside network
• Implement user access controls on the server, restricting permissions to the bare minimum necessary for operation
• Perform a short knowledge-transfer session or provide clear notes so I can manage routine tasks (restarts, log checks, updates)

Acceptance criteria
• Application reachable via the designated URL/IP and port(s)
• Service restarts automatically after a VM reboot without manual intervention
• Only the agreed-upon user(s) have SSH and sudo rights; the deployment account runs with least privilege
• All steps documented or demonstrated live
