Project Summary
I need a subject matter expert full-stack developer to modernise an existing product. It is currently built on an old .NET framework with a dated frontend. The project requires upgrading to a modern .NET Core/.NET 8 backend and a complete frontend rebuild and redesign using React (or other modern JS framework).
This is not just a coding job — I am looking for someone who is an expert in their field and can provide advisory input on best practices, scalability, and performance optimisation.

Scope of Work
- Upgrade backend to .NET Core/.NET 8.
- Redesign frontend using React + ThemeForest UI template (already purchased).
- Implement responsive, modern, and user-friendly UI/UX.
- Ensure hosting on AWS Sydney region with proper CI/CD pipeline.
- Integrate with GitHub for source control.
- Provide guidance and advice on architecture and implementation choices.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in .NET Core/.NET 8 backend development.
- Expert-level skills in React (or modern JS frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with AWS hosting and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in modernising legacy applications.
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor/SME, not just an implementer.
What I Will Provide:
- Current source code (legacy .NET + frontend).
- AWS setup details.
- GitHub repo access.
- ThemeForest UI template.

Deliverables
- Fully upgraded backend (.NET Core/.NET 8).
- Fully redesigned frontend (React + new UI template).
- Production-ready deployment on AWS Sydney.
