Architect .NET to Azure Migration Tutoring

Job ID: 39785428

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need concise, high-level mentoring on how to act as the architect for a refactor of several existing .NET web applications and their accompanying API/back-end services so they run cleanly on Azure App Service. I would like 1 step-by-step example; id like to see a project you actually did as you share screens. I want to tap into your architectural experience to understand what really matters—patterns that avoid re-writes, tooling that speeds the move, and the trade-offs you’ve seen in production.

Here’s what I expect our collaboration to cover:
• Refactoring touchpoints: configuration, file storage, state management, background jobs, and pipelines.
• Decision checkpoints: when to choose App Service, App Service Environment, or container-based alternatives.
• Recommended toolchain: Visual Studio tooling, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, Azure Migrate, Application Insights, and other utilities you actually rely on.
• Checklists and artefacts: a migration runbook, sample architecture diagram, and a reusable validation checklist I can adapt to each app.

Delivery can be a mix of remote white-board sessions, recorded walkthroughs, and shared docs—whatever conveys your know-how most effectively.
