We are looking for an experienced Windows developer to create a custom application that enhances the security and management of Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) sessions on our Windows Server. The application will enforce security policies, manage RDP sessions, and provide administrative control over user access, with the ability to apply settings to specific or all RDP sessions.
Key Features Required:
Internet Blocking on RDP Sessions:
- Block internet access by default for specific or all RDP sessions.
- The Internet on the server console should remain unaffected.
- Provide an option to unblock internet access for specific or all RDP sessions.
USB Storage Blocking on RDP Sessions:
- Block USB storage devices by default on specific or all RDP sessions.
- Ensure USB access remains available on the server console.
- Allow administrators to unblock USB storage for specific or all RDP sessions.
Console Screen Projection to RDP Sessions:
- Mirror the server's console screen to specific or all active RDP sessions.
- Provide easy start/stop functionality for screen projection.
RDP Session Monitoring and Control:
- Display real-time information on all active RDP sessions.
- Allow administrators to take control or "shadow" specific or all RDP sessions.
User Management and Bulk Creation:
- Create and manage local users on the server.
- Automatically add new users to the "Remote Desktop Users" group.
- Support bulk user creation via file imports (e.g., CSV).
- Include options for listing, modifying, and deleting users.
Technical Requirements:
- Compatible with Windows Server 2016 and above.
- Developed in C# using .NET Framework or .NET Core.
- User interface created with WPF or Windows Forms.
- Secure and with detailed logging of all actions.
