ASP.NET MySQL Migration Help
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m moving the MySQL back-end that powers my small ASP.NET site (which also runs a First Data payment gateway) to a new server. The schema, data, and all stored procedures need to come across intact—data integrity is the top priority, so I want checksums/row counts or another verifiable method that proves everything made the jump without alteration.
The scope is straightforward: copy every table exactly as-is, update any connection strings the site relies on, and then run the site in a staging slot so we can confirm pages, checkout, and reporting still function before we point live traffic at the new database. I’m not carving out special subsets; we’ll lift and shift the entire data set together.
Once you’re finished I’ll need:
• A dump or backup file representing the final migrated database
• A short log detailing the migration commands or tool chain you used (mysqldump, MySQL Workbench, etc.)
• A test report that shows row counts and at least one sample transaction moving cleanly through the site on the new back-end
