Reimagined Snake Game in ASP.NET
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I’d like a fellow developer to help me breathe new life into the 1998 Nokia “Snake,” this time built entirely with ASP.NET (Core preferred). The finished game should run smoothly on fly.io and live in a public GitHub repo that we’ll maintain together.
Gameplay scope
• Core experience stays true to Classic mode, so the familiar mechanics remain intact.
• Visuals shift to crisp, modern 2D graphics—think clean lines and smooth animation rather than retro pixels.
• A lightweight real-time multiplayer layer is essential; two or more players need to join a room, see each other’s snakes, and compete until only one survives.
Technical expectations
• Server-side logic in C# with proper separation between game loop, multiplayer hub (SignalR or similar), and UI layer.
• Front-end can be Blazor, Razor Pages, or a small JS canvas if you prefer—just keep the stack within ASP.NET and ensure cross-browser playability.
• Automated fly.io deployment: provision, build, and push via GitHub Actions so each commit spins up a fresh instance.
• Clear README and inline comments so I can pick up maintenance after hand-off.
