Native Linux C#/.NET Clone of TQVaultAE for Titan Quest Anniversary Edition (Avalonia UI)

Job ID: 40577169

Budget: $200 – $400 USD

I am looking for an experienced C#/.NET developer to create a native Linux desktop application that clones the core functionality of TQVaultAE (the item management tool for the game Titan Quest).

The original tool is open-source and written in C# for Windows (WinForms). Your task is to use the existing business logic/parsers from the original GitHub repository and rebuild the user interface for Linux using a cross-platform framework like Avalonia UI.

Requirements:
1. Technology: C# and .NET Core (must run natively on Linux Mint without Wine/Proton).
2. UI Framework: Avalonia UI (or similar modern cross-platform GUI framework).
3. Core Features:
- Full support for reading and writing Titan Quest save files (.chr and .bst) including correct checksum calculation (no corrupted saves).
- Smooth item grid system with native Drag & Drop functionality (moving items between character stash and vaults).
- Loading item database, displaying proper game icons, and showing full item descriptions/stats on mouse hover (tooltips).
4. Deliverables: Full source code and a working binary tested on Linux.

CRITICAL SECURITY & WORK RULES:
- I will NOT provide any remote access (No AnyDesk / No TeamViewer). You must source or simulate your own test files or request samples.
- The project will be funded 100% via Milestone, but NO partial releases will be made before a fully working demo video or test build is provided.
- Do not bid if you don't have experience with Linux development and binary file parsing in C#.

Please start your proposal with the phrase "TITAN LINUX" so I know you read the whole description.
