Mid-Level .NET Core API Developer
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m spinning up several new micro-services and need a mid-level .NET engineer (roughly 4–6 years in the seat) who can own day-to-day RESTful API development from home. The work is fully remote, paid on a contract / freelance basis, and—because of data-sharing rules—open to U.S. citizens, Canadian, European.
The heartbeat of this engagement is tight, well-documented Web APIs written in C# on .NET Core. You’ll design endpoints, wire them into a micro-service architecture, and integrate any third-party libraries the features demand. Solid SQL skills come into play for modelling relational data, tuning queries, and keeping the JSON you hand back lean and predictable.
We collaborate in two-week sprints, review code in Bitbucket, and keep communication flowing over daily stand-ups and pull-request discussions. Clean code, thoughtful use of design patterns, and unit tests that actually fail when something breaks are all non-negotiable.
Essentials I need to see in your message:
• Concrete examples of RESTful API development you led or heavily contributed to (Git links or screenshots are fine if the repo is private).
• A quick rundown of the micro-services you’ve touched—what you built, how you deployed, and any scalability wins you’re proud of.
• Confirmation that you are a U.S. citizen and available to start within the next week.
Each sprint ends with:
1. Functioning .NET Core service that compiles cleanly.
2. All endpoints covered by unit tests and minimal in-code documentation.
3. A signed-off pull request in Bitbucket and a short demo/walk-through over Zoom.
If that cadence fits your style, drop your details and let’s get moving.
