Interactive Football Prediction Game Website
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are looking for a skilled and experienced freelancer to develop a new website for a Football
Prediction Game using .NET Core.
The goal is to create an engaging platform that allows users to predict
football match outcomes, compete with each other, and enjoy a seamless gaming experience.
How it works:
The process is very simple. You will be required to guess the outcome or result of a certain match and
the person with the highest points collected will win. There are variations of this with each competition,
but most follow these basic steps.
POINTS COLLECTION PROCESS:
1- Once the user logged in, he should select the League he wants to participate in with the ability to
participate in more than one League.
2- Each week the user will be asked to guess the correct score for the list of football games that will kick
off at 12AM on Saturday. These games will usually be from the English Premier League or from any
other League.
3- On Friday the admin will check who has the highest points and select the top 3-10 winners, and each
week the total will be back to zero for all participants.
4- Points calculation: with each game there will be points depending on how ‘right’ you got the final
result.
a. For a correct result you get 10 points,
b. If you guessed the right team to win or draw but the wrong score line, then you get 4 points.
c. If failed to get any of this right, you get 2 points for participating.
Requirements:
1- System Design and Architecture:
a. Develop a robust and scalable architecture for the website using .NET Core.
b. Design the database schema for efficient data storage and retrieval.
2- User Authentication and Authorization:
a. Implement secure user authentication and authorization mechanisms.
b. Enable social media login options for user convenience (Google, Facebook).
3- Game Logic and Features:
a. Create a user-friendly interface for submitting football match predictions.
b. Implement scoring mechanisms based on the accuracy of predictions.
c. Include features for users to track their performance and rankings.
4- Admin panel and System Updates:
a. Page to manage all users.
b. Page to add League and football matches under it.
c. Dashboard to get all participants for each League sorted by highest to lowest point score.
5- Responsive Design: Ensure the website is responsive and compatible with various devices and screen
sizes.
6- Dual lingual website (Arabic & English).
Some examples:
• https://eksab.com/
Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in .NET Core and Blazor framework. Knowledge in secure architecture development, responsive web design, and social media integrations is highly desirable. Your creativity and ability to conceptualize enjoyable user-interfaces will highly contribute to our project's success.
