Fix Contact Form, Ensure Notifications

Job ID: 37782076

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I'm currently having a critical issue with the contact form on 2 Umbraco websites. It's designed to be a primary mode of communication between visitors and myself, but unfortunately, it's not functioning as expected. Instead of successfully submitting the information, users are greeted with an error message, which is a major problem for user experience and my ability to connect with potential clients or audiences. Furthermore, when the form does eventually work, I want to ensure that submissions are not only sent to my email but are also stored in a database for redundancy and record-keeping purposes.

### Requirements:

- **Diagnosis and Repair**: First and foremost, the contact form needs to be thoroughly examined to understand why it's generating an error upon submission. This will require an understanding of both front-end and back-end web development, especially concerning form submission processes.

- **Email Notification**: Once the form is operational, setting up a reliable system to notify me via email for each submission is crucial. The chosen freelancer should have experience in integrating form submissions with email delivery systems.

- **Database Storage**: In addition to email notifications, I want all submissions to be stored in a database. Knowledge in database management and the ability to seamlessly connect website forms to a database for storage is essential.

### Ideal Skills and Experience:

- Expertise in web development, particularly in troubleshooting and fixing website forms (contact forms specifically).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
- Experience with email delivery systems and setting them up to receive notifications from website forms.
- Knowledge in database management, specifically for storing submission data from web forms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This project requires someone who can promptly and effectively diagnose the issue with the contact form, implement a fix, and set up both email and database notification systems. It's vital for improving my website's functionality and ensuring that I don't miss out on valuable communications
