Finalize .NET Core MVC Deployment

I have an almost-finished .NET 6 MVC web application that relies on Entity Framework Core and targets a SQL Server 2014 database. The solution builds, the code is largely complete, and I have a detailed functional spec, but the configuration pieces still need to be wired together so the site can actually run.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Wire up all remaining appsettings and environment-specific config files (connection strings, etc.).
• Ensure EF Core migrations are aligned with the existing SQL Server 2014 schema and apply cleanly.
• Resolve any lingering build or startup errors that come from mis-matched package versions or missing services in the DI container.
• Produce a repeatable set of steps (script or concise read-me) so I can spin the app up on my workstation and on a staging VM without surprises.
