Advanced Restaurant Management System (Kiosk/Tablet/PC Application (.NET MAUI) - Website development (Framework doesn't matter) - .NET Core Web API Project)
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
Project Scope
The project will be a system aimed at restaurants and will consist of the following three main components:
1. Web API: A .NET Core-based Web API to handle restaurant management, product, and order processing.
2. Kiosk/Tablet/PC Application: A responsive application developed using .NET MAUI, allowing restaurant management on various devices by adapting to different screen sizes.
3. Web Application: A frontend application where customers can view restaurants and products, and place orders. This will be developed using Angular, React, or Vue.
Main Features of the Project
1. Product and Category Management:
o Products' descriptions, prices, and specifications (such as portion size or ingredients) can be managed. When a customer adds a product to their cart, they can choose the product's portion size or remove unwanted ingredients.
o Product categories can be created (e.g., beverages, main dishes, desserts).
o Delivery options for products can be set. For example, some products may only be available for dine-in and not for take-out.
2. Order Management:
o Customers will be able to place orders through the website.
o Two delivery options will be available:
Courier delivery: The restaurant delivers the order using a courier service.
Pick-up: The customer places the order and picks it up from the restaurant.
o Restaurant owners will be able to manage these options through the kiosk/tablet/PC application.
3. Restaurant Settings:
o Restaurant opening and closing hours can be configured through the desktop application.
o Delivery hours and working hours can be set.
o Price updates and adding/removing products can be done through the application, and these changes will be reflected in the web application as well.
4. Coupon and Campaign Management:
o Restaurant owners can create campaigns and discount coupons.
o Settings like the duration of campaigns and discount percentages can be managed through the kiosk/tablet/PC application.
5. POS Integration:
o Restaurant owners will be able to generate sales receipts.
o Customer payments will be recorded in the system, and receipt printing will be done through POS integration.
6. Payment Integration:
o Online payment will be available when customers place an order. Integration with payment service providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) will be established.
o Once payment is completed, the order will be displayed on the restaurant management screen.
7. User Management and Registration:
o Users can register on the website and log in to place orders. Guests can also place orders, but phone numbers, addresses, and other details must be provided when ordering as a guest.
o Registered users can save address information, view previous orders, and create new ones.
------------
The project will be developed with a scalable and maintainable structure, ensuring that future enhancements can be easily implemented. Upon completion, the source code will be delivered to the client.
For new updates developed using .NET MAUI, the restaurant application installed on the customers' PCs will be automatically updated. Since the .NET MAUI project will be downloaded to the customers' PCs, licensing mechanisms will be integrated. When a customer's license expires, they will need a new activation code to continue using the application.
