ASP.NET Core Web App developer full time

I’m building a production-ready web application on ASP.NET Core and need a seasoned C# engineer to accelerate the backend and UI layers. The project already has a clean architectural outline; what I’m missing is expert-level implementation that ties everything together smoothly.

Core scope
• Secure user authentication and role-based access (ASP.NET Core Identity).
• Robust data-processing routines that read, transform, and persist large datasets via Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
• Interactive reporting and dashboard views with concise visualisations; Chart.js or any comparable library is fine as long as the end result is responsive and exports cleanly to PDF/Excel.

Your tasks will include wiring up the authentication flow, designing efficient EF Core models, writing high-performance LINQ queries, and surfacing the data in Razor Pages/Blazor components—whichever fits best within ASP.NET Core. Clean, well-commented C# following SOLID principles is non-negotiable, and each feature should ship with a basic unit test suite so I can drop it straight into CI.

Acceptance criteria
1. Users can register, confirm email, log in, reset password, and be assigned roles.
2. Data upload/ingestion completes under 30 seconds for our current dataset (~500k rows).
3. Dashboard loads in under 2 seconds on a cold start and all charts render correctly in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
4. Code passes the included xUnit tests and builds without warnings in .NET 8.
