Converting a website from .Net Framework to latest version of .Net Core and React/Angular
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
Currently I have a system which is written in .Net framework and want to upgrade to latest version of .Net core and React/Angular. So much of the code would be there, some conversion is needed.
You are tasked to build a Web Application with an SQL Server database or Dynamics CRM Database behind it with the following major requirements:
1. The application has the following major components:
a. A message generation system, capable of generating (based on templates) Emails (with
attachments), Text-Messages and Fax Messages.
b. A reporting system, capable of displaying data in a flat grid-like view, as well as graphs
and charts.
c. A domain-driven business flows designer.
d. A runtime execution engine for the flows designed.
2. The database:
a. Its structure should be capable of supporting design-based additional arbitrary set of
fields related to the existing entities.
b. Some fields will need to be encrypted. The process will need to be transparent to the
business layer.
3. The business layer:
a. The data returned by the business layer needs to be filtered based on user.
b. Input data needs to be validated and errors reported back to the UI.
c. The business logic needs to be extensible.
d. The business logic needs to be overridable.
4. The application’s UI:
a. It needs to be localizable.
b. It must be fast.
c. The code behind it needs to be modular and highly reusable (e.g. use of API and
perform data operations, CRUD).
d. Few pages/screens/views would need to be dynamic (data-driven).
e. It needs to be able to work with ASP.Net MVC architecture or Modern Js frameworks
such as React, Angular etc.
f. It should have effective Exception Handling.
Please include the following Discussion Points in your response:
1. Please provide a short list of the technologies you would use.
2. Please summarize your approach on the architecture of such an application.
3. Please summarize your approach on unit testing such an application.
4. Please list the major challenges you are expecting in the implementation of each of the
requirements above.
5. Please explain how you would overcome these challenges.
