We are seeking an experienced FDA regulatory compliance expert to assist our company with the approval, registration, and compliance requirements for food products that we export to the United States.
The ideal candidate must have proven experience working with FDA regulations for imported food products and be able to guide us through all necessary requirements to ensure our products can be legally sold in the U.S. market.
Scope of Work:
Review our food products and ingredients for FDA compliance.
Advise on FDA registration requirements for foreign food facilities.
Assist with FDA food labeling and packaging compliance.
Review ingredient declarations, nutrition facts, allergen statements, and claims.
Provide guidance on U.S. food import regulations and documentation.
Support compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
Identify any regulatory risks or approval requirements before export.
Assist with communication and submissions where required.
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in FDA food regulations and imported food compliance.
Previous experience helping foreign manufacturers/exporters enter the U.S. market.
Strong understanding of FSMA, FDA food facility registration, labeling, and import requirements.
Ability to provide examples of similar projects completed successfully.
Excellent English communication skills.
