Solar Bid Quantity Estimation
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
I need a seasoned quantity estimator to help me prepare a complete Bill of Quantities and cost schedule for an upcoming government solar bid. The scope covers every element called out in the RFP other than the photovoltaic panels themselves: inverters, mounting structures, cabling, civil works, earthing, and the entire balance-of-system.
Your job is to take the drawings, specifications and RFP tables I provide and build a clear, well-referenced take-off in Microsoft Excel. For each item you will show material, labour and overhead charges so that the final sheet can be dropped straight into the submission without reformatting.
Deliverables
• An Excel workbook with separate, clearly named tabs for quantity take-off, unit-rate build-ups and summary cost schedule.
• Source notes on how each quantity was derived (drawing reference, formula or assumption).
• A concise cover page highlighting total CAPEX and any exclusions.
Acceptance criteria
- Quantities reconcile against the latest drawings (I will spot-check random items).
- Sub-totals roll up accurately and all formulas remain visible.
- The file opens cleanly in Office 365 with no broken links or macros.
If you have recent experience on government or utility-scale solar projects and can start immediately, let me know your turnaround time and a short sample of a previous BOQ.
