Simulink Electrical Grid 27 bus Fault Model
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have MATLAB & Simulink installed and now need a well-structured electrical grid model focused on fault analysis. The system must include properly parameterised generators, transformers and representative load models so I can inject single-line-to-ground, line-to-line and three-phase faults and observe transient behaviour, voltages, currents and protection relay responses.
Please configure the model with clear subsystems, naming conventions that follow Simscape Electrical best practice, and scopes or data-logging blocks that make it easy to export results to the workspace for post-processing. Reusability matters, so keep parameters grouped in a mask or a script I can tweak later to test different power ratings and fault locations.
Deliverables
• A clean .slx file containing the complete grid, ready to run
• A brief PDF or Markdown note (a page or two) explaining the component parameters, where to change them and how to trigger the fault scenarios
I’ll validate by running each fault type and checking that waveforms reproduce expected transient profiles without solver errors.
