2. Enable controlled access for each user based on role and department.
3. Allow easy, secure remote access to files from laptops and mobile devices.
4. Ensure files can be accessed and edited offline with automatic synchronization once back online.
5. Resolve certificate and security issues related to remote access.

Scope of Work
1. Initial Setup & Network Configuration
Verify and update NAS firmware to the latest DSM version.
Configure LAN and WAN access, static IP or DDNS as needed.
Set up Synology’s QuickConnect, VPN, or reverse proxy for secure external access.
Configure Synology SSL certificates and fix certificate mismatch errors for smooth HTTPS remote connections.
2. User Accounts & Permissions
Create user accounts for each team member with appropriate roles.
Set up shared folders and define permissions:
Sales: access to own files + shared sales folders.
Accounting: restricted to financial and invoice data.
Managers: full read/write access across departments.
Presales: limited to technical folders and project documents.
Implement access control for both local and remote users.
3. File Structure & Organization
Design a logical folder structure for departments (Sales, Presales, Accounting, Management, Marketing, etc.).
Migrate existing sales quotes, documents, and data to the NAS with proper versioning.
Enable file version control and backup policies for data recovery.
4. Offline Access & Syncing
Configure Synology Drive for desktop and mobile users.
Enable selective sync and offline file access for traveling employees.
Set up automatic synchronization when users reconnect to the internet.
