STEM Grad Program Research Assistant

Job ID: 39917025

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I am putting together a Trello board that maps out graduate-level research opportunities at STEM programs in the United States. For each university card you and I create, I need a concise paragraph that introduces one or two professors whose research aligns with my own work so I know exactly whom to approach for potential collaboration. The emphasis is on the program’s research culture rather than admission requirements or course lists; if additional details become useful later, we can add them, but the first pass should focus squarely on research facilities, ongoing projects, recent grants, and any cross-department labs that make the program attractive.

We will review the structure of each faculty paragraph together, but expect to cover their current research themes, notable publications or grants, and a short rationale for why their lab fits my goals. Accuracy is crucial, so source links must accompany every note you add to Trello.

Initial scope
• 10 universities, STEM only
• One Trello card per university, containing:
– Snapshot of key research opportunities (centers, institutes, major projects)
– One-paragraph faculty profile (with links)
– Source citations in the card comments

Acceptance criteria
• All facts verifiable through university or lab pages
• No AI-generated text pasted without human verification
• Paragraphs cap at 150 words each and use clear, professional English

This assignment can grow into an ongoing virtual assistant role. Reliability, confidentiality, and polished written and spoken English are essential; I may ask you to complete a short language test before we begin additional tasks. If systematic research, clean documentation, and Trello collaboration are in your wheelhouse, let’s get started.
