I am in the planning-and-design phase of a new residential build and need a licensed civil engineer to turn my concept sketches and zoning notes into a permit-ready package. The immediate priority is a complete site plan that satisfies local setback, grading, drainage, and utility-connection requirements, followed by all documentation necessary for a smooth building-permit submission with the municipality.
Key deliverables
• Stamped site plan showing contours, grading, storm-water management, and utility layouts
• Erosion-control and temporary-access details in line with current code
• Completed permit application forms, calculations, and any supplementary diagrams the authority typically requests
• A brief memo explaining assumptions, code references, and any next steps so I can track revisions
Please be familiar with residential zoning regulations and permit portals; AutoCAD/Civil 3D or equivalent is preferred so future consultants can pick up the files easily. If you also handle structural analysis, note that—while it isn’t required right now, I may extend the engagement once the architectural set is finalized.
Target timeline: draft site plan within one week of kickoff, final permit package within two weeks after feedback. Let’s get this groundwork finished so construction can start without delays.
