KT-ES Remote EntraPass Integration
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I need practical, hands-on help getting a Kantech KT-ES controller talking to an EntraPass server that is off-site. Everything will be running over a straight Ethernet link; there is no Wi-Fi or cellular component. I have full admin rights on the Windows-based EntraPass installation, so any server-side tweaks—port assignments, gateway definitions, hostname changes, Windows firewall rules—are completely within reach.
Here is what I’m expecting from you:
• Walk me through, or remotely carry out, the correct network and panel settings so the KT-ES can locate and authenticate with the remote server.
• Verify communication in EntraPass and confirm that events, status updates, and door commands flow reliably in both directions.
• Document every change you make (IP addressing, port numbers, encryption keys, etc.) so I can replicate the setup on additional panels later.
If you typically lean on tools like KT-Finder, SmartLink, or even a packet sniffer such as Wireshark for troubleshooting, feel free—I’m good with you using whatever works best, as long as the final outcome is a stable, tested connection.
The job is done when the controller shows Online in EntraPass, doors can be controlled remotely, and live events appear without delay.
