I have one candidate whose previous employment certificate must be verified as part of my background-check process. I chose the “Background checks” service specifically for employment certificate verification; other checks like criminal record or credit history are not required at this stage.
You’ll need to contact the issuing employer, confirm the authenticity of the certificate, and provide documented proof of the findings. I expect any calls or emails to be logged and, where possible, an official response or stamped confirmation from the employer.
Deliverables
• A brief verification report (PDF) summarising method, date of inquiry, contact person, and outcome
• A scan or screenshot of the employer’s written confirmation (or call log with reference number)
• Clear statement of authenticity: “verified” or “unable to verify”
