I need a Certified Dialysis Technician who is truly comfortable with peritoneal dialysis and can stay on top of every aspect of my patient’s day-to-day therapy. The position centres on direct patient care and continuous monitoring: performing routine health assessments, guiding the exchange process, checking vital signs, keeping infection-control standards tight, and being ready to step in quickly should anything look off-track.
Here is what I expect from the engagement:
• Regular health check-ups that cover vitals, exit-site inspection, fluid balance review, and timely documentation in the patient record.
• Hands-on assistance during each dialysis exchange—setting up the cycler or CAPD sets, verifying dialysate clarity, troubleshooting alarms, and ensuring sterile technique throughout.
• Immediate support if complications arise, whether that means recognising early signs of peritonitis, managing leaks, or liaising with the nephrologist for emergency adjustments.
