MikroTik Mesh Hotspot Deployment
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m rolling out a brand-new hotspot under the PM-WANI framework and want the entire backbone built on MikroTik. The immediate objective is to design and configure a seamless mesh network so users can roam across the site without dropping their session.
What I already have:
• A clean slate—no existing MikroTik configuration to inherit.
• Physical locations earmarked for several APs and enough cabling/power to reach them.
What I need from you:
• A full network plan showing how many MikroTik units are required and where they should sit.
• RouterOS-based mesh configuration (CAPsMAN or another MikroTik-native approach) that keeps a single SSID live across every node.
• Hotspot (walled-garden) setup that satisfies PM-WANI compliance, complete with captive portal, user authentication flow and logging requirements.
• Remote hand-over files: export of all configurations, diagram, and a short step-by-step so local staff can reset or add nodes.
• At least one live test session proving seamless roaming between access points.
Acceptance criteria:
1. Users connect once and move between mesh nodes without re-authentication.
2. Throughput remains stable and latency acceptable (<10 ms added) when hopping nodes.
3. Logs capture session start/stop, MAC, IP, user ID and are retained per the PM-WANI mandate.
4. All configuration files and documentation delivered in editable formats.
