Leather Export Inspection in Matamoros
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an inspector who can visit the exporter’s facility in Matamoros, Mexico and examine a batch of leather goods before they ship. The inspection is primarily visual, with special attention to surface defects as well as correct packaging and labeling for export.
What I expect on site
• Open a representative sample of the cartons, check each piece for scratches, scuffs or any other surface flaws.
• Confirm that every box carries the right labels, barcodes and documentation matching the packing list.
• Photograph the items, cartons and labels clearly from multiple angles.
• Record your findings in a concise report (PDF or DOC) and send the photo set in original resolution.
Timing
The shipment is ready now, so the visit should take place within the next few days. The inspection itself should not require more than a couple of hours on location.
Deliverables
1. 25+ high-resolution photos covering product details, labels and overall shipment.
2. A one-page checklist summarizing pass/fail for surface defects, packaging and labeling accuracy.
3. A brief narrative report highlighting any deviations.
If you are already based near Matamoros or can get there quickly and have experience with export QC, this should be a straightforward assignment. Feel free to let me know your earliest availability and any relevant inspection background.
