Harden WordPress Against Hackers

My WordPress site was compromised once before, and even though I now run a firewall plugin, schedule regular backups, and enforce two-factor authentication, I still don’t feel fully protected. I want an experienced WordPress security specialist to dig deeper, close every remaining gap, and leave me with a robust, well-documented defence.

Here’s what I need from you:

• Comprehensive security audit of core files, themes, plugins, user roles, and server configuration
• Immediate remediation of any vulnerabilities you discover, including patching outdated components and cleaning hidden backdoors
• Fine-tuned configuration of my existing firewall and hardening of login, database, and file permissions
• Implementation or optimisation of malware scanning and real-time monitoring tools (your recommended stack is welcome)
• Clear, plain-English report summarising what was found, what you fixed, and the steps I should follow to maintain the new security posture

I’ll provide full admin and hosting access as soon as we start, and I’m happy to test changes on a staging clone first if you prefer. Experience with WP-CLI, Sucuri or Wordfence, server-side WAF rules, and best-practice hardening techniques is a must. If you can demonstrate past recoveries or hardening projects, I’d love to see them.
