Fix Gmail Routing Issue

For reasons I can’t pinpoint, a significant share of messages that should land in my Gmail inbox keeps diverting to my iCloud address. I read mail in Gmail and, apart from a few tweaks I tried after ChatGPT suggestions, I haven’t added accounts, set up filters, or tampered with forwarding rules. Still, the mis-routing persists on roughly half of new mail.

I’d like an email-configuration specialist to jump in, trace the exact cause (whether it’s hidden forwarding, IMAP/POP conflicts, MX records, or anything buried in Gmail or iCloud settings), and restore normal delivery so every message addressed to my Gmail stays there. We’ll work together over a screenshare; once you diagnose and correct the issue, please document which settings you changed so I can keep things stable going forward.
