Face Reader BIS (CRS) & ISO Certification Consultant
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We have a fully-functional facial-recognition reader ready for launch and now need it formally certified under the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) as well as the appropriate ISO schemes. Our goal is to move from a "market-ready prototype" to a "legally compliant product" with all supporting certificates in hand.
What We Need:
We are looking for end-to-end guidance and execution. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Gap Analysis & Mapping: Identifying exactly which BIS notifications (such as IS 13252 Part 1) and ISO clauses apply to a biometric access device.
2. Documentation: Creating and polishing every required document, technical file, and application form for submission.
3. Lab Coordination: Coordinating with BIS-recognized, NABL-accredited laboratory test houses for hardware, firmware, and EMC/safety testing.
4. Process Management: Managing the submission, query resolution, and audit processes on the BIS application portal until the final R-Number and ISO licences are issued.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. You must already know the BIS application portal, Indian EMC/safety test houses, and typical ISO checkpoints for products that process sensitive biometric data.
2. Deep familiarity with standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and related security or performance benchmarks.
3. A proven track record of securing BIS CRS registration (R-Number) for IT/Electronic goods (specifically biometric/access devices).
We are open to your expert recommendation on the precise scope and timeline. Please include your previous experience with similar electronic devices in your proposal.
