Device Disassembly & Current Mapping
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have a compact electronic gadget roughly the size of a modern smartphone. For component-testing purposes, I need it taken apart methodically, each part documented, and the electrical behaviour of every module measured.
Here is what the job entails:
1. Open the device with only a standard electronics toolkit (no proprietary jigs should be needed) and separate every board, connector, sensor, and mechanical piece without damage.
2. Photograph and label the disassembly sequence so that anyone could reassemble it in reverse order.
3. Draft an exploded-view plan showing part positions, connectors, and test points.
4. With a calibrated multimeter or similar bench instrument, measure and log the current flowing into and out of each individual part while the device is powered under its normal operating conditions. Record both direction and magnitude (mA or µA as appropriate).
5. Compile the data in a clear table that correlates part ID, function, test point, supply rail, measured current, and notes or anomalies.
Acceptance criteria
• Parts removed intact and photographed in high resolution.
• Exploded-view plan or diagram delivered in PDF or vector format.
• Current readings repeatable within ±5 % when retested.
• Complete measurement log supplied as an editable spreadsheet.
