Configure Teams with Breakout Rooms
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My new Windows laptop is straight out of the box and class starts Monday. I need Microsoft Teams (desktop version) installed, fully signed in with my existing account, and configured so that breakout rooms work flawlessly. Once everything is set, we will run a quick test meeting and schedule the real session on Sunday, making sure the invitation—complete with pre-assigned breakout rooms—reaches my students in time.
Scope of work
• Install and update the Teams desktop client on Windows.
• Verify camera, mic, and speaker settings.
• Enable the breakout-room feature and walk me through creating, naming, and assigning rooms.
• Schedule a recurring meeting for Monday’s class while we are connected, then confirm the invitation lands correctly in my inbox.
• Provide a concise, one-page cheat-sheet so I can repeat these steps later without help.
Acceptance criteria
1. I can start a meeting on my own and move participants into breakout rooms.
2. A test invitation you send shows up in my calendar and opens without errors.
3. The cheat-sheet covers installation refresh, breakout-room setup, and invitation scheduling.
We can connect via Quick Assist, Zoom, or any secure remote tool you prefer. With clear guidance, everything should be wrapped up in under an hour.
