Assistant + Business Analyst
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a detail-oriented manual tester who can take full ownership of our current test cycle while also setting up clean, reusable documentation templates for future projects. The immediate focus is on Quality Assurance: writing test cases in Excel or Word, running them against our product, logging every defect with clear reproduction steps, and retesting until everything passes. Screen captures and concise notes are expected so the development team can act quickly.
Because we don’t yet have formal Business Requirement Document or Statement of Work templates, part of the assignment is to design both from scratch. They should be professional, easy to maintain, and flexible enough to cover new features as they appear in later releases.
Deliverables
• Excel/Word test plan covering all agreed-upon user stories
• Executed test results and a defect log, each entry traceable back to its test case
• Two editable templates: BRD and SOW, ready for internal branding
• A short handover note explaining the file structure and any next steps
Acceptance Criteria
• All critical paths are tested at least once with evidence attached
• Defects are reproducible and prioritised
• Templates follow standard SDLC sections and pass an internal formatting review
