Archival Research, CBS's "Secret Storm" Scripts
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
This is a small, ongoing archival research project at the Writers Guild Foundation.
I’m commissioning onsite summaries of short television scripts from the CBS daytime serial The Secret Storm, beginning with 1957 and proceeding sequentially. The entire project consists of approximately 200 scripts total, with work completed in defined batches of about 30 scripts, released roughly every other month.
Each script runs approximately 15 pages, and the deliverable would be a 1–1.5 page, double-spaced research summary per script (neutral, factual, chronological). A simple summary template will be provided to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Compensation is structured either:
• Hourly, up to $40/hour, or
• Batch-based, with batches issued sequentially
This is straightforward archival summarization for research and documentation purposes (not transcription or creative adaptation).
