Legacy Articles Digitization & Typing

Job ID: 40426518

Budget: £10 – £15 GBP

I am moving a collection of legacy newspaper articles from their current paper format into my online blog and need each piece turned into clean, error-free digital text. The originals exist only as physical paper copies; I will provide high-resolution scans or photos so you can work from home. Some of these articles include photographs or small graphics that also need to be captured—please extract, lightly touch up if needed, and supply them as individual PNG or JPG files named to match the article.

Your task is straightforward:
• Retype every word accurately into a shared Google Doc (or Word, if you prefer) ready for easy copy-paste into the blog’s CMS.
• Supply any accompanying images in a separate folder, clearly labelled.
• Flag unreadable sections so I can double-check later.

Strong attention to spelling, grammar, and consistency is a must; speed is appreciated but accuracy comes first. If you are comfortable working with OCR tools for a first pass, that’s fine, but final text must be human-checked. Please include a brief note on previous similar projects when you respond so I know you understand the scope.
