Web Developer for Image Protection Platform

This website has most of its core features already implemented. I’m looking for someone who can optimize and maintain the existing architecture moving forward.
there is a digital content protection platform that integrates reverse image search with blockchain-based certification. It automatically scans image origins and generates verifiable proofs of ownership.
The tech stack includes React, Express, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, IPFS, and is orchestrated using Docker Compose.
Job Responsibilities
Take over and maintain a monorepo-based project with multiple services (frontend, backend APIs, image scanning module, etc.)
Extend and maintain Express and FastAPI services (image protection, certificate generation, API key integrations, etc.)
Manage PostgreSQL database and Sequelize migrations
Integrate and manage third-party image search APIs (Google Vision, TinEye, Bing, Cloudinary, AWS S3)
Deploy and optimize services on DigitalOcean (e.g., auto-backup, updates, performance tuning)
Write and maintain Dockerfiles and docker-compose configurations to ensure consistency across environments
Collaborate on new feature design, bug fixing, and security improvements
Required Skills
DevOps / Infrastructure
Proficient in Docker and Docker Compose for containerized development and deployment
Experience deploying to and managing DigitalOcean (Droplets, managed services, etc.)
Comfortable with Linux server administration (Nginx, firewall settings, SSL, basic security)
Backend Development
Strong experience with Node.js (Express) and Python (FastAPI)
Familiar with RESTful API design, including authentication and authorization (JWT)
Experienced with PostgreSQL and ORM tools like Sequelize
Skilled at integrating third-party APIs (Cloudinary, AWS S3, Google Vision, TinEye, Bing Image Search)
Frontend Development
Proficient in React.js
Familiar with modern JavaScript/TypeScript build tools (e.g., Vite, pnpm, Turborepo)
Bonus Skills
Familiarity with IPFS / blockchain notarization / NFT metadata processing
Knowledge of image comparison algorithms / reverse search mechanisms
Experience working with pnpm and Turborepo in a monorepo setup
Prior use of Google Cloud Platform / Azure Cognitive Services
Comfortable with GitHub/GitLab CI/CD pipelines
