Fix 502 Error on Live Website + Code Analysis & Documentation (TypeScript) – Urgent 2-Hour Task

Project Description:
We are experiencing a critical 502 Bad Gateway error on our live production website that requires immediate attention. We need an experienced TypeScript developer who can diagnose and resolve this issue quickly, then provide a thorough analysis of the existing codebase with clear documentation.
Scope of Work:
1. Fix 502 Bad Gateway Error (Priority #1)
Our live website is currently returning a 502 error to all visitors. You must identify the root cause — whether it is a reverse proxy misconfiguration, upstream server failure, Node.js process crash, PM2/nginx issue, or Docker container problem — and resolve it completely. The site must be fully restored and stable before moving to the next phase.
2. Codebase Analysis
Once the site is restored, perform a thorough review of the existing TypeScript codebase. This includes reviewing the overall architecture, identifying any structural issues, anti-patterns, or technical debt, and noting any areas that may cause future instability or performance problems.
3. Documentation Submission
Deliver a clear written document covering your findings. This should include a summary of what caused the 502 error and how it was fixed, an overview of the codebase structure and key components, identified risks or recommendations for improvement, and any dependencies or configurations that are critical to system stability.
Requirements:

Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js backend systems
Proven ability to debug live server and proxy errors (nginx, PM2, Docker)
Ability to work under pressure and deliver within a strict 2-hour window
Clear written communication for documentation delivery

This is an urgent task. We expect the 502 error to be resolved and full documentation submitted within 2 hours of project start. Please only apply if you are available to begin immediately and can commit to this deadline.
Ideal Candidate:
You have hands-on experience with production TypeScript applications, understand server infrastructure, and can communicate your findings clearly in writing. Speed and accuracy are equally important here.
If you are confident you can handle this end-to-end within the timeframe, please apply now with a brief note on your experience with similar production issues.
