Subscription-Based Vulnerability Scanner Prototype
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m looking to have a functional prototype built for a Nessus-style vulnerability-assessment platform. The goal at this stage is to prove the core engine and pave the way for three paid subscription tiers.
Key capabilities I need in this first release
• Vulnerability scanning that covers network, application, and configuration issues
• Real-time monitoring so critical findings surface instantly
• Reporting & analytics dashboards, including exportable PDF/CSV summaries
Tier logic
Each tier should differ by:
• Number of scans allowed per month
• Access to advanced reporting features (e.g., trend analysis, comparative risk scores)
What I expect you to deliver
1. A working scanner module (Python or Go preferred, open to C/C++) that leverages industry-standard libraries such as Nmap, OpenVAS APIs, or custom scripts to detect the three vulnerability classes listed above.
2. A lightweight web frontend (React, Vue, or similar) showing live scan progress, history, and the reporting dashboard.
3. A basic subscription management layer: simple Stripe or Razorpay integration that locks features/scan counts per tier.
4. Clean, well-commented code with setup instructions (Docker-compose is fine) so my internal team can extend it later.
This is a focused, medium-scope build—think “functional prototype” rather than polished SaaS. Once I validate it internally, we can discuss a follow-on contract for hardening, UI polish, and additional compliance checks.
If you have solid experience in cybersecurity tooling, vulnerability research, and payment-gate integration, I’d love to see your approach and any relevant repos or demos.
