Description:
I need an experienced server administrator (preferably based in India) to perform a secure VPS setup with Docker as the primary focus.

Main task (priority in form):

Docker setup for web server containers (e.g., Nginx/Apache)

Configuration for database containers (e.g., MySQL/PostgreSQL) if required

Secure container isolation and hardening


Additional required tasks (must be able to do all):

VPS firewall configuration (UFW/iptables)

SSL setup & auto-renewal (Let’s Encrypt or equivalent)

Server hardening (disable root login, SSH key access, intrusion prevention)

Basic monitoring setup (uptime + security alerts)


Ongoing:

Light monthly monitoring (log checks, uptime alerts, suspicious activity monitoring)

Occasional response to security alerts


Requirements:

Strong skills in VPS hosting (Contabo or similar)

Proven Docker container security experience

SSL configuration & best security practices

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., UptimeRobot, Fail2Ban, Grafana)

Prompt response in case of alerts
