Guide Django AWS Deployment

My Django project already works perfectly on my local machine and the Docker image is sitting in my private ECR repo. Required set-up for AWS ECR & EC2 are done. An EC2 instance (Amazon Linux 2) is up and can reach the registry. What I need now is a seasoned AWS/Docker engineer who can jump on a screenshare with me, walk me through the remaining production steps, and quickly fix any errors that pop up along the way. End Goal- Final deployment of Django app in AWS

Scope of what’s left
• Django local is ready, AWS ECR EC2 set up is ready. Connect both to deploy in production
• Confirm HTTPS works once a certificate is in place.
• Troubleshoot any dependency, permission, or networking issues live while I share my screen.

Acceptance criteria
– The site loads over the public URL (or public IP if we stay without a domain) with no errors.
– Container restarts cleanly on instance reboot.
– Deployment commands are documented in a short runbook I can follow next time.

We’ll work interactively: I’ll do the typing, you guide, explain, and verify. Expect no more than an hour for an expert who knows AWS CLI, Docker, ECR, EC2, Nginx, and Gunicorn. Once traffic flows and health checks pass, the job is done and I’ll happily sign off.
