Execute AWS automation Test via LocalStack - Location Pune

Job ID: 40428625

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

Looking for software test engineer in Pune location To develop below requirements.

I have a Cucumber + TypeScript test suite that targets several AWS services, and I now need a specialist who can take ownership of the actual execution phase. The codebase and step definitions are in good shape; what I’m missing is a rock-solid, repeatable way to run both integration and end-to-end tests locally through LocalStack.

Here’s what I need you to focus on:

• Spin up and manage a LocalStack instance (Docker-based) that mirrors the AWS resources referenced in the tests.
• Wire the existing TypeScript test runner so that integration and end-to-end scenarios trigger automatically against that local stack.
• Optimise execution time and reliability—parallel runs, proper teardown, clear logging, the works.
• Provide concise artefacts: a one-command script (npm, yarn, or shell) that spins everything up and a short README explaining prerequisites, how to kick off the suite, and how to read the results.

Acceptance criteria
• All integration and end-to-end scenarios pass on a clean clone of the repo using only LocalStack—no live AWS calls.
• Exit codes are meaningful for CI use (0 on success, non-zero on failure).
• Console output and any generated reports clearly show scenario names, duration, and pass/fail status.

Optional, but nice to have: guidance on plugging this into GitHub Actions later, or advice on shifting execution to real AWS if we ever flip that switch.

If you’re fluent in Cucumber, TypeScript, Docker, and LocalStack and enjoy making test execution bulletproof, let’s talk.
