DCM4CHE + Weasis + DICOM Integration Expert Needed
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
We are looking for an experienced PACS / DICOM integration expert to help us connect our local DCM4CHEE instance (running on a Synology NAS) with a cloud-based medical information system.
Current setup:
1. DCM4CHEE is fully installed and running locally on our Synology NAS.
2. It is properly connected to the ultrasound device.
3. Worklist integration is already working — the ultrasound retrieves patient data from the medical system.
4.After performing an ultrasound exam, the study and images are successfully sent back to the PACS.
Our goal:
5. We want the cloud medical system to display a link to the corresponding study/images stored in the PACS.
The plan is to send an HL7 message from the PACS to the medical system containing a URL link.
When the doctor clicks this link in the cloud system, it should download a Weasis launcher file (e.g., .jnlp or .weasis), which automatically opens the study in Weasis and displays the images.
Tasks:
- Configure Weasis to connect and authenticate with our local DCM4CHEE PACS.
- Build and test the HL7 message structure that includes the dynamic study link.
- Coordinate with the medical system vendor to ensure compatibility.
- Ensure that access from the cloud system is secure (authentication, port access, etc.).
Requirements:
- Experience with DICOM / HL7 integration
- Familiarity with DCM4CHEE and Weasis configuration
- Experience with Synology NAS / Docker setup is a plus
Deliverable:
- Fully functional integration allowing doctors to open PACS studies directly from the medical system
- Documentation and configuration notes
