Description:
We are looking for a DevOps-focused developer to automate the deployment of a modular AI Gateway system that routes traffic between multiple LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, Ollama), based on custom HTTP headers (x-agent, x-brand, x-session).
This is a fixed-price project. Payment is made only upon successful delivery and testing. No milestones or hourly billing will be considered.
Scope of Work:
You will deliver a production-ready, Dockerized environment with the following:
Containers required:
Custom AI Gateway container (FastAPI backend with routing logic)
NGINX reverse proxy container (handles SSL + routing)
Certbot container (Let's Encrypt HTTPS certificate with auto-renewal)
Required functionality:
Docker + docker-compose configuration for all services
NGINX setup with reverse proxy and fallback routing
Certbot integration (automatic HTTPS provisioning and renewal)
Bash CLI tools:
test-curl.sh: simulate requests with headers + fallback test
mcp_watchdog.sh: container health check & restart
next_free_port.sh: identify and assign available ports
Logging: fallback.log for monitoring routing behavior
.env loader and clear directory structure
Fully documented README.md
Deliverables:
All code pushed to a private GitHub repo (no ZIP files)
Working docker-compose setup with tested routing logic
All CLI scripts and config files
Complete README.md with usage and setup instructions
