About the Project:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer to assist us in designing, migrating, and securing a new infrastructure for our existing application. This role requires someone who can execute a fast and reliable migration with minimal downtime, while building a foundation that ensures scalability, security, and resilience for the long run.

Key Responsibilities:
-Assess current infrastructure and design a scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient AWS-based solution.
-Lead a fast, smooth, and secure migration of the running application to the new infrastructure.
-Set up and optimize containers (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) for application deployment.
-Implement extra security layers, including VPN-based access to AWS services, tools, and hosted platforms.
-Establish CI/CD pipelines with approval/verification layers to prevent the deployment of buggy or unverified code.
-Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure high availability and quick incident response.
-Advise and apply best practices to mitigate risks from potential cyberattacks, vulnerabilities, or performance issues.
-Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to the internal team.
(Optional but preferred) Provide ongoing maintenance and infrastructure support post-migration.

Requirements:
-Proven hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud Infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudWatch, etc.).
-Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes (preferably AWS EKS).
-Solid background in DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
-Strong understanding of cloud security, VPN setups, IAM policies, and compliance best practices.
-Experience in threat prevention, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent), and incident response.
-Track record of delivering fast, secure migrations for live applications.

Nice to Have:
-Experience in microservices architecture.
-Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in AWS.
-Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
-Project Duration: Short-term (migration + setup), with the potential for long-term maintenance engagement.
-Location: Remote (must be available for aligned communication during migration phases).
